Zetland Park Methodist Church exists to rejoice in the love of God. Who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

To this end, we are committed to building up a fellowship of Christian love that embraces all ages, and, through our prayer, property and our activity, to serving the people of the locality in which we are set.

Remember, Remember !

We all remember the 5th of November, the gunpowder, the treason and the plot - and still we have our bonfires and fireworks, toffee apples and hot chocolate. I guess it was potentially the equivalent of foiling 9/11 or 7/7 today which is why I the celebrations still continue! This makes me think, though, that on this day perhaps we should indeed remember those whose job it is to protect us from such atrocities today - covert, unnamed, possibly never to be acknowledged, but who, day by day, do those things we will never hear about to try to prevent similar events again. Thursday Meeting

The next Thursday meeting will take place on 16th February. Over the next few weeks we will be exploring various themes taken from Genesis. There will be drinks and cake/biscuits or savoury nibbles.

We will meet at 7.30 pm on alternate Thursdays. See the notices for current dates.

Featured : Sunday Squad

Sunday Squad welcomes children of all ages, and enjoys sharing worship, stories and activities every Sunday morning 10:45 am until 11:45 am. We join the main congregation for a short time at the beginning of the morning Church service then we leave to enjoy our own lessons. We share many events during the church year including a Christmas party, visit a pantomime, sponsored walks, coffee mornings to name a few. We would be very pleased to see new faces and would love to have you in the "squad".

From time to time we host special events such as Flower Festivals. You might want to look at some Images from the Flower Festival held in 2009.

It seems only yesterday but it's now 5 years since the refurbishment in 2006. We have some 'before' and 'after' images to give you a feel for what was done. Better still come and look for yourself.
